Capital Novus Acquires Technology and Services Company, Expands into Federal, State, and Local Government Sectors

Washington, DC (April 2011)

In the recent months, Capital Novus has made many advances in the size of its staff and the development of its technological capabilities. The company now looks to not only grow its product/service line, but to also expand into a new market. Capital Novus has acquired a Government and Healthcare business partner that traditionally specialized in document and records management products and strategic planning and budgeting.

This acquisition yields a new edge for Capital Novus, as the company makes moves into the Federal, State, and Local government sectors. Some new products and services include an electronic document management system (EDMS) software called Edge™, medical records management software called MedDocs™, and performance management and budgeting software strictly for government use called CASCADE™. Several of the products and services acquired by the company help form Capital Novus' new division, Novus Government Services. Although these products were traditionally made for and purchased by healthcare institutions and government departments and agencies, they will be modified to serve all client industries of Capital Novus.

Novus Government Services supplies a wide array of IT products and services to Federal agencies and Local and State departments, as well as Healthcare facilities and educational institutions. From electronic discovery, to document management and performance management products, Capital Novus hosts and sells these and other technology services and clients across the globe.
