Capital Legal Solutions, LLC now doing business as "Capital Novus"

Fairfax, VA (January 2012)

Capital Legal Solutions (CLS) has confirmed its new identity and name, Capital Novus.  Traditionally a provider of e-Discovery, Data Forensics, and Trial Consulting/Graphics services for the legal community, Capital Novus now showcases a wide variety of products and services for corporate and government clientele. Steady entrance into new markets and expansion of the company’s product and service lines have resulted in the recent need for a change.

Always a client demand-driven company, Capital Novus continues to focus its efforts on creating efficiency for its clients facing challenges in data discovery and document handling. Founder and President Dharmesh Shingala states that besides the addition of new products and an expansion of capabilities, not much else has changed;  “As the company continued to grow and expand the scope of its products and services offered to such an increasingly diverse customer base, we progressively became aware of the need for a change in the name… What has not changed is the quality of our services and products. We will continue to provide business applications & services that create efficiency for our clients.”

When compared to the change in the company’s growth that has occurred over recent years, the name change for CLS is merely a facelift. Underneath the surface lies the real transformation that resulted in the visible product that is now Capital Novus. Recent acquisition of a government services business led to the company’s arrival in the government and other markets. Aside from law firms, Capital Novus has made its products and services available to corporations, financial institutions, healthcare facilities, and Federal, State, and Local Government departments and agencies. Some of the more recent additions to the company’s product/service line include an integrated document capture and electronic document management system, and a performance-based budgeting software that backs a comprehensive approach to performance management for the government.

In the midst of this market penetration and product development, the company has only continued to succeed, as it has grown consistently over the recent years. In the last 5 years, Capital Novus has grown from 2 office locations, to 7 locations all around the world, hosting 5 data centers in England, India, Japan, France, and the United States. At the same time, its employee base has more than doubled to what is now over 200 people. What is certain is that diversification has worked well for Capital Novus, thus far, and previous trends would only assume further growth to come for the young company.
