Document Routing and Storage
- Document Routing with E-mail – Easily route documents and folders with the Edge E-Mail interface, and for FOIA the filing of E-Mail responses and attachments when received.
- Unlimited File Cabinets (Data Sources) - Each File Cabinet has a unique folder view that reflects the index structure of the file cabinet. Based on permissions, each file cabinet has a separate file/document-type indexing schema, so you can establish file cabinets for multiple user groups with unique filing requirements.
- Unique Business Process and User-defined folder and document view for each Filing Cabinet – Each file cabinet in Edge can have its own unique folder, document view, set of index fields, up to 14 for folders and 15 for documents.
- Batch Capture and Processing Module – A front-end module for batch processing and import of documents is provided, including the import of documents scanned in TIFF format.
- Document/File Activity Tracking – Includes a security logging and report feature to meet various regulations, like HIPAA, that require tracking the "who, what, and when" aspects of users that access sensitive or business records.

Archiving
- Archive & Local Storage Key Word Quick Search – Brings up Search screen as the first screen user sees when opening the product; provides wildcard search for part of the name, address, etc. based on user index fields.
- Near and Off-Line Auto Archiving – Allows designation of locations for archiving files and documents
- Archive Email & Attachments – Ability to select E-mail messages to archive; save Email, and all attachments to the Email, in a viewable format.
- Archived Document Recall feature – Recall and move documents to an active status by resetting the archive date.
